My rol e now is a l it e r a c y int e r ventionist, whi ch consists of t e a ching al l a r e a s of l it e r a c y to students during the ir ELA c l a ss, and focusing on instruc tion in smal l g roups. I also int e r vene with students who may strug g l e a bit or ne ed ex tr a he lp in ke eping up and c at ching up with l it e r a c y ski l ls. The s e g roups happen during WIN time so no othe r instruc tion is miss ed. When I am not t e a ching l it e r a c y, I enjoy spending time with my thr e e adult chi ldr en and the ir f ami l i e s. My husband and I have one g r anddaught e r whom is twe l ve and thr e e g r andsons r ang ing in ag e from 2 0 months to 5 months. Some of my f avorit e thing s inc lude kayaking , swimming , r e ading , v isiting new pl a c e s and al l the fun adventur e s we do tog e the r a s a f ami ly. This One School- Two Books is a fun way to enjoy two r e al ly good books with the ir f ami l i e s and t alk about them at home and at s chool .
