The students at Berkshire School will be participating in our first annual “Let’s Grow As Readers'' challenge. We are trying to get In The MOOOOOOD To Read. Students are encouraged to READ, READ, READ over the rest of the month of May and June. Students should record their reading at school AND home on their reading log. Books that you read aloud to your child can count as well. In grades PK-2, for every ten books read, they earn a Moodirt plop. In grades 3-8, for every ten chapters read, they earn a Moodirt plop. Teachers will pass out a Moodirt picture that the students can then “plop” on another classroom door. The more you read, the more Moodirt you earn. The goal at the end of the challenge is to be the classroom with the least Moodirt images on their door and the classroom with the most books read. We are all looking forward to this fun event!! Let’s get ready to READ and….. HAVE FUN!!

FNESU's official last student day of school will be on Monday, June 17th. This will be a half day for students. The FNESU School Board waived a snow day for students and we were just awarded a waiver for students for the Eclipse Day from the VT Agency of Education. Thank you for your patience as we awaited the waiver decision from the Agency of Education.
